What is being optimistic all about? Being optimistic is clearly a state of mind, that looks forward to the better things in life and approach to resolve your issues. Someone who is optimistic, especially when they are challenged with pertaining matters that they need to overcome, will tell themselves, “ I will surely get over this! Nothing is going to pull me down ”. These people have a good degree of resilience too.
Having the attitude of ‘I Can Do It’, invokes optimistic behavior. You bring forward a brave front, perhaps you may still be questioning yourself at some moments, but that does not hamper you from attempting to do, what you set your mind on accomplishing. You are ready to face challenges, although you may not know all that is coming, but you tell yourself, “ I will be fine, no worries! ”.
It is said optimistic people do have the ability to not overstress themselves. There is a partial truth to this. Some overly optimistic people, just put too much pressure to themselves. They sometimes are said to be ‘over confident’. These people, in order to accomplish what they set to do at any cost, can behave inconsiderate and decline receiving shared opinions. This, in return, can also be detrimental to your success that you are planning to attain.
Remember, unless and when you are marooned on an island all by yourself, or landed on another planet that seems to not have any form of civilization, you are just not alone. Whatever your attempts in attaining your goals, you will need to consider the people around you, who may be affected in the due process.
Do not overburden with unnecessary questions unless and when,

you can narrow down its importance.
Here is where the ‘Elimination-of-Process-Method’ takes place. You take note of what you need to accomplish with the ‘5-Ws and 1-H’ (Who, What, Where, When, Why and How). This analysis method predates most fundamental approaches to resolve many issues. It’s simple, without needing to exaggerate unnecessary stone walls and you can be progressive throughout your approach.
By taking the 5-Ws and 1-H questions, you will list down your elimination of subject materials. These are tasks, people, approached situations, obstructions and timeline, to which you can design your path to accomplishing your goals. Remember to simplify your thought process. It will be easier for you to visualize and gain confidence in your planned goals. This will in return provide you an optimistic mindset, overcome hesitation and push you forward, towards your progress.
One advantage in being optimistic is your health status too. When you are down and out, you may feel being under the weather, and not have the motivation to wake up from your bed. Someone who is naturally optimistic, will not be hampered by such conditions. If someone was down with some severe injuries from an accident, for example, being optimistic, can help their recovery process, even if they had lost a limb.
Many people in such conditions, had adapted to use many different prosthetic limbs, some even with bionics, to get them moving. They accomplish amazing tasks, running, swimming, riding a dirt bike, and racing on specially configured wheelchairs. If you put your mind and body in the right place, your thoughts can invoke your inner strengths, from your optimism and confidence; that you can do it!
No matter what the challenges are, learn to be optimistic.

On the contrary to this, the negativity is being pessimistic. You can question yourself when you are using the 5-Ws and 1-H process, but do not stop trusting that you have the ability to accomplish what you had set to do. You may need help, and do not hesitate to ask. Reaching out to anyone you know may be able to provide you the needed boost, does not make you look weak. Ignoring this and being adamant to just do it all by yourself, may sometimes be not beneficial, and will delay your progress as well.
There is no failure in asking for help. You failed yourself, if you decide to be, pessimistically ignorant. Being shy to ask, should not make you stay in your shell forever. Roll over, just like the hermit crab, come out and see the light. You do not need to look for another shell to move in, but to open up your roof to have more light coming in your living space. Get yourself energized, believe that you can do more things, if your put your mind and body to work, without hesitation.
This Covid-19 pandemic, made many people successful in their endeavors. Even when they were left without a job, retrenched, or just that the current business model did not work, they did not give up. They turned their attention to their hidden skills, the passion that they had. Some went to baking, cooking, starting up a food truck and restaurants that came up with new ideas for food packaging and deliveries.
Endless accomplishments were recorded, some even ended up becoming billionaires from development applications that surged with demands within one year. The possibilities are endless but you need to trust that you can do better.
It becomes a miracle, if you won a lottery. It is not a miracle, if you had succeeded in your lifetime that you can be proud of.
