Is there real freedom when speaking out your mind, but it comes with the cost of something like cancel or woke culture? What is freedom of speech actually? Does it mean that you are free to say what you want, how you want and where you want? Or does it say that it invokes power for you to create an avenue to argue, contradict, suppress, provoke aggression, oppression and force yourself on others with your ideology?
Equal rights also means that there is equality of both or more parties who contradict each other. The rights of people who disagree with same sex marriage is equally important as the rights of the ones who are challenging this.
Asking Netflix to clamp on Dave Chapelle’s jokes on LBGTQ+ is denying his rights to an opinion, especially when it also becomes part of his comedy act. He is entitled to his opinionated jokes as much as anyone else who believes otherwise. If you don’t like it, change the channel and look for something else to watch. Don’t badger others.
The woke culture that wants everyone and everything changed to their demands is not inharmonious with the fundamental of equal rights. In some sense, woke culture is literal behaving like raping someone, where one’s intent is forced on others, at great suffering and continuous consequences that follows after.
Similarly, it is also said that justice is only justice when it is available for everyone. Black Lives Matter movement (BLM) that became very prominent in year 2020 had its reasonable cause and events that lead to fighting for rights that was seen with disparity.
It was not something that was new, but similar events occurred within the history of the United States, as people become tired of the oppressive and segregation behaviors that was placed upon them.
Inequality, poverty and living in drug infested areas that are infiltrated with gangsterism, makes their mindset no better and extremely challenged. It is indeed a very dark area to survive and to have a better outcome to their living orientations. A very few people come out of these places and become really successful, reflecting that change is possible when the initiative is taken positively.
The outburst is obvious. Anarchy, destruction, looting, daylight robberies and pressure to defund the police force. Nothing is reflective for the goodness, but social disorder is believed on the basis of personal entitlements. Such behaviors has never changed from the past. Unfortunately, with the current outlook, it seems not changing anything better for the future.
Universities and colleges, being place of education, ironically begins to be more racially segregated instead of finding an integrative path. Place of residence in some areas is made exclusively for black students, which was indeed a historical past in many apartheid countries. The demands that initiated from BLM today had become a twisted role of narratives full of segregation and not showing a healthy avenue to the original intent. Sad but true.
Ancient texts mentioned the city of Dwarka and its great civilization that existed more than 5000 years ago. However, similar texts have no signs of any real improvements towards humanity around the world. The Egyptians, Romans, Greeks and the legend of Atlantis, were reflected by some of their greatest achievements. The cost of pride and prejudice, that followed by great wars, annihilated every known civilization that had recorded historical foresights in science, medicine, astronomy and administrative skills. All that is left today, are ruins that become tourist spots.
For the next hundred years, are the human evolution going to be any better? Will there be any real freedom that is foreseeable or will they be living under isolated domes because this current world that you are seeing is destroyed by greed and another nuclear world war beyond any current imagination? Are we in the path to lay another global destruction? What happened in the past is to repeat in this coming future?
Harmonious intent can only be developed when both parties find a neutral ground to adhere. Obsession, fanaticism, selfish attitudes, animosity and more negativities will keep brewing on with the motifs of creating constant anarchy, that only keeps enriching the vested parties.
Keep conscious of your personal thoughts and be sensible. Do not be influenced with information that remains woke and to destabilize social balance. End of the day, it will be you, who will be suffering the most.
When birds are kept in cages, their personal freedom is taken away from them no matter how you justify it. Imagine what happens to yours when you are globally caged up too?
Freedom is a revered word. Understanding its value, takes a lifetime.
