If you had ready my blog, ‘To Vaccinate or Not?‘ , you will realize that Covid-19 is here to stay. It will not be as detrimental as now, but in due time, it will be just like what you encounter on a daily basis, likeness to viral flu and fever. If your antibody is well and fine, you will just have a sniffle at the end of the day. After a good meal and rest, you will wake up all well and fine. If you are not well, a medicated tablet or syrup will probably be ready by then for use.
I guess, after June 2022, high probability that most countries would have been able to achieve at least 65 – 80% vaccination status and the serious infection curve should mellow down by then. We are still overwhelmed by the news on different variants of this virus. Just like it is adapting to the presented environment, we also quickly adapt to similar changes. Do not worry about it so much. The only concern is if you do have inherent medical complications to which, you are more susceptible to severity to the infection.
What you need to do for now is, respect the need for some form of social distancing. Follow that up with good hygiene practice. If you are not well, stay at home and recuperate. Eat natural food, where possible, that provides vitamin, antibodies and re-healing energy to your body. Take more greens with herbs and spices, especially if you are someone who pukes at the sight of vegetables. If you are non-vegetarian, watch your red-meat diet, as white meat will be easier for your digestion during these challenging times.
Learn to infuse healthy liquid diet, alternating with your solids, so that your body can adapt quickly and be able to mobilize your self-recovery, in case you are under the weather. Exercise at least for 15 to 30 minutes a day, as physical fitness is essential for your well-being. Before you know it, this pandemic would have found its path to the end of its major infection cycle and begins to flatten as well. After that, it will just be another airborne disease.
It is not social distancing that matters,

but the distance you take to keep everyone safe.
If you have read about the last major pandemic, that happened around 100 years ago, Spanish Flu had occurred in four major waves, spreading around the world. It’s just like what has happened now for Covid-19. Coincidence it may be, but a century later, we are experiencing the same. By the time the Spanish Flu pandemic ran its course, the whole world normalized within the period of two years, even when vaccines were not prevalent then. The possible reason of greater impact this time around was due to easier access to global travels. The flattening of the infective curve was achieved with a similar course of action; social distancing.
I have quoted before, we are to learn from our past mistakes, so as to not repeat it in future. However, in the case of a major pandemic, panic-stricken environment will of course be the consequences, especially when it occurs once every century. The complacency of current generation is no different than the former. When push comes to shove, only then the respective parties take effort to resolve the pertaining issues, in this case, the governments around the world.
The question I am bringing forward is that, “ What will be our strategic approach, for the next major pandemic? ”. Will there be a written and fortified strategy kept in place to ensure that the next pandemic will be handled much better, depending on what it is in the first place? Will we be able to share the medical findings and resources in a much faster pace, instead of politicizing and capitalizing?
Will the major players leading the World Health Organization and United Nation be able to come with a pre-agreement that the medical findings during a pandemic will be a joint effort to share, and to reproduce, in order to quickly isolate the spread of any know pandemic globally? Can we come to a common agreement that capitalization is not the route to end a global pandemic but shared-resources? Yes, it sounds like a wishful thinking indeed, but in reality, if these questions are answered, the solution to a better world for all to live in can be visualized easily.
Life goes on. That’s the catch phrase that we are all familiar with. Through good times and bad ones, we still will need to look at a favorable outcome. A bright light at the end of a really messy tunnel. Many new discoveries will also take place in the next century. We should, by then have more medical advancements, discoveries and resources, for the common benefits of humanity.
Perhaps, surprises will also present itself in the same process, especially on the things that we have been ignorant about. We will possibly see a global utopia, in order for humanity to move forward in the next century onwards. If anything, humanity on this Earth will realize, that we are not alone. I really hope so, as this universe is so vast and infinite, the isolation of this planet, as it is, will not make it look like an orphan within the unbounded creations.
In times of difficulty and crisis, we will be able to reflect on ourselves and to others. The true colors will then prevail !
