I am taking you back to the point of time, or a moment that you can fondly think about. It could be when you were in college, using a typewriter to write your assignments and listening to music on a Sony Walkman. Fond memories of playing on a swing, tapping on a television to get the channel working or sitting by a pond watching the fishes swim in clear waters. So many more memories during a flashback, will incite pleasant feelings within you. These moments are also relative to the happy place that I mentioned in some of my blogs in the past.
Nostalgia moments have these effects of leading you to your happy place too. It warms your heart and excites your mind, reflecting on the good things that you had enjoyed. You would have saved every penny to buy your Sony Walkman, or it would have been a gift given to you by someone you totally adore.
I know of many people who will tell me some of their best moments in their life was during their studies at the university. Although studies were challenging and demanding, they recall the best moments they spent with friends from different backgrounds, of whom they got acquainted with. Some of the craziest things they would not think of doing today, was those moments they did with these friends.
Happy place is where you reach yourself to reset your negativities.

Use it wisely and you will reap the fruit of its reward.
During your process of finding or identifying your happy place, you may come across many moments to which it will make you smile. Capture that moments, if needed, in writing. Write up to three moments in simple summary. Keep the list in your Time-Planner, and refer to it whenever needed, especially when you are feeling down and unmotivated.
Just remember to not take the nostalgic moments as your reason to stay unhappy. I have discussed about Switch-Off and Off-Load method for you to train yourself using mental switches, to help you progress in different stages of your life. When you familiarize yourself with this, you will also know how to Switch-Off and Off-Load your unhappiness, and recuperate quickly by going to your happy place.
Do not loiter in your happy place too long and not do anything after that. I have come across some people who tells me that they are taking a break and wanting to find their actual destiny in life. I have no disagreement with them. My question is, how long do you plan to do so?
Invest in your timeline to decide how long you need for such a moment. If you say, I am going to take three months to just rest and recuperate, then you also will be progressively visualizing what you will be doing three months after that. Let your mind ponder in arrays of positive visions as you meditate and exercise too, during your break. Towards the end, there is a high possibility that you will find an answer, and be able to have a jump start to your next goal.
The objective is for you to have the strength from within to reset yourself quickly, as possible. It may take some people weeks, months and even years to recover from any incidents in their life. You may have lost someone who is very close with you. On their departure from this mortal world, the loss can be overwhelming for you, as now you do not have the one person you share your emotions with. Instead of caving yourself in their memory, bring forward the happy moments you have spent with them. Use it as your stepping stone to recuperate and value the moments you can reflect on yourself.
When nature bring forward a bright and sunny day, why do chose to shut the window and stay inside?
