Pluto Factors to Marketing© – Explained

Pluto Factors to Marketing©
1. You will need to have a stable decision maker within your management team to go with your strategic proposals.
2. You and your team need to be having a well-rounded experience or market exposure maturity.
3. Your organization will need to show its foundation and market presence in par and well above your competitors.

The above was the summary from the previous blog, that formulated these key marketing factors. Let’s go for a short and explorative journey out to the Universe.

I sincerely agree with the International Astronomical Union to identifying what is a planet. If you want to identify an existing mass entangled with the solar system, you need a firm ground of factors you refer to. Logically, we already have eight other planets besides Pluto, that have enough orbital presence around the sun. It becomes your base reference to a good guideline.

We have the smallest to the largest planets, starting from Mercury, Mars, Venus, Earth, Neptune, Uranus (stop laughing. I am trying not to), Saturn and Jupiter. They all have some advantages and disadvantages. Some have many moons, but harsh conditions. Neptune and Uranus seem to be amongst the coldest planets. Venus is hotter, although it is further away than Mercury from the sun.

Now, why am I talking about astrophysics here instead of marketing? To make you think out of the box from your comfort zone, that’s why. The inter-comparisons made to our solar system relates well to marketing too. The challenges that is brought on by each planet still remains in orbital around the sun. That is why, I called it Pluto Factors to Marketing. Your focus to the core-elements should remain enticed to see through your marketing successes.

When you take deep observations to your surroundings, you get to acclimatize and able to be flexible, when needed malleable too. That is why I pointed out three simple rooting factors that makes its global presence in marketing tools. You cannot reach anywhere if the head of your department or your organization is fickle minded and indecisive. On the worst case, they says “ I don’t care what you do, but I want results! ”. A leader motivates, even if they do not know much about it.

When you are forming an active marketing team, individuals with well-rounded experience will be able to formulate a good marketing plan and strategies. Some will say,” It’s ok. I will try this approach and see what is the outcome ”.

Really? Time and money wait for no one. Having a good market exposure gives you the stepping stone to move forward with positive outcomes. By the way, if you are a Freddie Mercury fan, listen to his song on YouTube, with the same theme. Relax, we have a lot more to learn.

Last but not least, is your market presence. If you are new, possible doubts will arise. You do not have enough proven track records to show. Do not be dismayed. Start with a Positive Attitude. Reach out to your target clients. Get their invaluable feedbacks. Make related changes to your marketing strategies, if needed to fine tune it.

Learn to price it right. Pricing requires research. Honestly, from my personal experiences, being cheaper than your competitors is not the necessary direction to secure a business deal. Many a times, the pricing was more than 30% from the nearest competitor and we still do secure the sales.

Remember, everyone can travel to space, but only an astronaut has a greater chance of returning home. So, when you explore the challenges of marketing, work with someone experienced.

Marketing can be self-indulgent. You can make the best out of your enjoyment.
