Peter Spalton, who is a Certified Management Consultant, mentor and business coach stated in his book, ‘Marketing Secrets‘ that marketing covers all parts of your business. In his experience of more than 30 years, I totally agree with his statement from my personal experiences too, that marketing is more than advertising or public relations. It’s a way that leads to potential customers with profit as resultant.
Large organizations have both sales and marketing departments who independently manage their plans. Smaller enterprises on the other hand combines both schools of thoughts in one and act accordingly. The most common problem is both entities sometimes making a total mess of sales and marketing strategies.
I have most of the time come across businesses where there seems to be a war path between sales and marketing teams. Their negligence hampers the integral strategies to achieve the root goal; making a profit for the company and be successful continuously for a long period of time.
Remember, with or without you, the company

will be operational and it is an independent entity.
A business entity will need to succeed, be profitable, undertake corporate social responsibilities by helping the needy. You on the other hand, are a source of energy that either brings the light of success to the enterprise or the malefic energy that makes your co-workers uncooperative to any of your plans. You decide which approach is best for you.
Here onwards, I will be writing more blogs on marketing key strategies as your basic guide. My intent is to awaken your thoughts and lead you to further successes.
When a person overthinks their importance, they forget the the importance of others.
